We are the bakers...

Heres a wild story for ya...

Kelsey and I got crazy and made some bread! Yep you heard me. We BAKED! It all started at 10:00 PM. We made a run to Fry's, cause it's the best.... and got our supplies. Then... We came home. Some crazy guy was in our house! Kelsey splashed some oil in his face! No, but really. We came home to start our project. We realized we were missing some pans. So back on the road again. Kelsey stayed to prep while I got the pans. Thats when the man was seen chasing my truck down the road. Seriously, We kneaded the dough to perfection, put it in the pans, while watching Letters to Juliet (Yes we are that talented). Then put them gracefully into the oven, and awaited the heavenly scent pouring from the oven of that rich bread. Then, 1:30 rolled around and the buzzer went off. Oh the heavenly smell. We stuffed our faces full of that heaven sent bread. You better believe it. Everyone reading this SHOULD be jealous. :) Thanks to my camera skills, you too may see this Heaven bread.

Friday Night Fun

Well once again it is late. I told you sleeping is for sissys. Tonight I found the house all to myself. Shaunae is playing softball and sleeping at her sisters. Kelsey is having fun in Las Vegas. Me, I am having the time of my life...YIPEE!! Right. So here is what i did, I got home from work around 9:30 and had some din din. Then watched a little hulu (I really should have been doing homework). Then I got a really bright idea.

Yesterday I went to Wal-mart and picked up a 6ft tall book case.

Just Kidding...I think pretty much everything that could go wrong in the process of constructing this piece of furniture happened. By the looks of the picture it may look upside down or insideout. No my friends it is upside down, rightside up, inside out, and right side out. This all being at the same time. Please don't ask me how I did it, I just did. I think part of my problem is that it was 30 bucks at walmart.

Anyways thats what I did tonight. Maybe tomorrow I will try fixing it. If not, Does anyone want a discombobulated book shelf? Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my finger hurts. Hammers are just not my thing tonight.

SCUBA NERD

Ok I know it has been a while since i last posted.... and I should be in bed asleep right now. But I think sleeping is for sissy's.

I was looking through some of my pictures that we took last year during Christmas and couldn't help but post some of them.

Scuba diving is probably my favorite "sport". Everything about it just brings me joy and brings back such good memories.

Last Christmas Break my dad and a couple of his buddies decided that they wanted to go dive some hot springs outside of St.Johns. Well there is a myth going around among the SJ people that all six of Dukes Hot Springs are bottomless. So that was the idea was to see if this was true.

Of course many safety issues come up when planning this lil adventure. When diving a new spot you want to make sure everything is fine and dandy. The first plan of action was to see how deep each of the six springs were and to see if any of them had a current. After finding that they each did have a bottom, the deepest one (15ft) was found for the first exploratory dive. There was much excitement as my dad (that handsome fellow in the picture above) took the safety line and made the short descend down. It turns out that everything look good so his other dive buddies joined him.

At the end of the first dive excitement had dwindled down in the discovery of a "mud hole." As each of the brave divers exited, Jason the last to get out discovered that when he went to pull himself out that there was no wall below his waist. Excitement again struck these noble "explorers". Once again Jason and my dad descended into the dark muddy waters.

Jason and Dad said they slowly moved into the mouth of the cave. The visibility was about 3 feet and Jason was in front. Stalagmites and stalactites could be seen on the walls of the dark watery hole. It was established before hand that they were to just confirm that this hole in the wall was indeed a cave and then go no further. They only were through the opening when their fin kicks had stirred up the suet. They both had many fears and thoughts of regret as they handled the situation. Each were armed with a dive light and the physics of air bubbles. They found their way to the surface quickly and told us what they had found.

That is how our exciting December day ended.
